We are very lucky living within an area such as the Cotswolds for many different reasons, one of them including the events that run across the whole of the Cotswolds throughout the year. No matter what time of year you come and visit us there is always something to catch your eye and visit. The next couple of months don't fail to disappoint and there is a number of events that you can pop into or make a weekend out of depending on your interests. Now that January is nearly over the quietness of the Winter period slowly starts to lift ready for Easter and the Springtime.
I have picked out just a couple of events to share with you which I think would be worth a visit if you travelling over this direction!

* 3rd-17th February, Snowdrops at Rodmorton Manor
Who doesn't love Snowdrops? There are very beautiful flowers that pop up this time of year. From the 3rd-17th Feb you have the chance to walk round and appreciate over 150 different types of Snowdrops at Rodmorton Manor. This would be a lovely way to spend a weekend espeically on a crisp day with beautiful sunshine. Aswell as the Snowdrops there is also the chance to see other types of wild winter flowers on your walk around the grounds. A perfect chance to admire some beautiful scenery, get some wonderful pictures and enjoy the fresh winter air!

* 10th Feb- 22nd April, 'Art and the Churchill Family' exhibiton Belnheim Palace
Blenheim Palace is always a popular venue to visit anytime of the year but if you have a keen interest in art then this event would be perfect for you. Open for a good period of time for visitors to enjoy you can takw a walk around the 'long library' where you can view a series of oil paintings on display from Churchill's original collection of paintings. Many inspired by holidays that the family used to take this would be a lovely addition to your trip to the venue. Open everyday Monday- Sunday 9-5pm.

* 8th-10th March, Made by hand Cheltenham, Cheltenham Town Hall
Cheltenham's largest craft festival is back and promises to be once again a successful and intersting events to visit. Over 100 award winning desginers will be attending with their products available to sell directly to you the public. There will be a wide selection of designers including, jewellers, potters, furniture makers, wood workers, glassmakers, textile artists and many more. Enjoy walking around the stalls and seeing the wonderful designs that will be on offer.
As a furhter benefit to the event there will also be the chance for adults and children alike to try their hand at a wide range of exciting craft workshops, aswell as many different activities and being able to watch the designers in action at the different craft workshops available on the day. I think that this would be a perfect day out for all ages and a chance to learn something new. A perfect place to visit, especially if the weather isn't great.
Tickets are available each day, however due to the popularity of the events it is advisable to pre book ahead of time.
